I didn't time how long it took me to cut my steeks, but it was at least half an hour.
One strand at a time is definitely the way to go.
But, success! Nothing has fallen apart, and Moor has been transformed from this rather sorry looking bag-like thing:
Into a recognisably vest-like object:
Next up: shoulder seams. And edgings.
Congrats! Cutting a steek is definitely less frightening than thinking about cutting a steek.

Looks super! Seeing someone cutting steeks doesn't freak me out anymore, now that I've done it once myself. Funny how something like cutting one's knitting should seem so intense. I love the colors too.
